I have an ENGL150 class at UNL this semester. This is a lesson that is very helpful to me. My professor Crystal Bock is a very patient person. In a short semester, she taught me a lot of knowledge about writing. At the beginning of the English class, I was not keen on writing, I did not know anything about the format and requirements of a particular essay, but at the completion of my second essay, the professor remarked in great detail on my first draft which I made a variety of mistakes. Because I am an international student, I am not particularly skilled at grasping some grammatical knowledge. I often make some grammatical mistakes in my writing, like common slices. The professor spotted the problem, and in the next day's class gave a specific account of the problem and came up with a very detailed solution, from which I learned a lot of effective advice.
